Program Duration

The Basic Midwifery Program at UBTH spans three years, offering comprehensive training in midwifery. Entry Qualifications

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be between 16 and 34 years old.
  • Educational Qualifications: Possess five credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, SSCE/GCE/OL. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

Method of Application

  2. Payment: Pay a non-refundable fee of fifteen thousand Naira (N15,000) on the College of Nursing platform after registration, or to the UBTH account with TSA under the service type: Training School of Midwifery using the REMITA platform at any bank in Nigeria.
  3. Additional Fee: Pay five hundred Naira (N500) into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Edo State Committee account at First Bank, account number 2004854377.

  • Registration and Payment: Must be completed online before the entrance exam date.
