Rochester Museum of Science Center holds silent disco night

Rochester, N.Y. — People were getting groovy at the Rochester Museum of Science Center Saturday night.

A silent disco was open to visitors over 21, bringing eclipse-themed fun.

Two local astronomers added their personal touch with space-themed trivia and eclipse-themed drinks.

“We have a silent disco here in the planetarium, we have tastings going on next door at the museum, it’s a whole party tonight,” said Dan Schneiderman, RMSC.

The event kicks off the three-day festival that will be happening this weekend outside RMSC.
