Last week, the Greater Kansas City Science and Engineering Fair, hosted at Union Station, celebrated the remarkable achievements of young scientists, including Pleasant View R-6 students Kolbi Barlow, Audree Vandever, and Scott Slater-Mayberry.
These students distinguished themselves among their peers, earning gold ribbons for their exceptional projects. In addition to this high honor, Audree Vandever was awarded third place in the Physics and Astronomy Division, receiving a blue ribbon and a $50 prize for her innovative work. Scott Slater-Mayberry also stood out in the competitive field, securing second place in the Chemistry Division along with a blue ribbon and a $75 prize.
Their achievements underscore the talent and hard work of students participating in science fairs.
