Are you interested in the NNPC National Quiz competition? Then you are at the right place. The NNPC organizes a national quiz competition and you can be part of it. As you read on, we will be showing you what you need to know to stand at an advantage.

NNPC National Quiz Competition

The NNPC quiz competition was inaugurated in 2000 and limited to level, but went national in 2001 To date, it has run 15 national editions. The 2017 edition is, therefore, the 16 (excluding a year it was not held).

Objectives of the Quiz Competition

Here are the the objectives of the quiz competition:

1. To implement a core element of the NNPC Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) package.

2. To promote Science education in the country.

3. To encourage students in the study of Science and Technology related subjects,

4. To prepare students in English and General Studies

5. To prepare students for promotional and qualifying examinations.

6. To build friendships amongst the participating students.

7. To develop students’ competitive spirit.

8. To break down long-held stereotypes and engendering a better sense of National being in participating students, through the cross-cultural interactions that the contest offers.

9. To provide a platform for enlightening the students and the general public on the activities of NNPC.

How to Apply

Interested schools should visit their respective Local Government Area and register under the Local Government Education Department to be able to participate in the competition.
