NASU Threatens to Resume Strike Over Withheld Salaries

Workers at tertiary institutions under the aegis of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Other Associated Institutions (NASU), are preparing to resume their suspended strike due to the Federal Government’s failure to pay for outstanding salaries.

The announcement was made by General Secretary Prince Peters Adeyemi during the union’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja. However, a specific date for the strike’s resumption hasn’t been confirmed.

Prince Peters Adeyemi emphasized that members’ patience has run out, stating, “We are going to resume the suspended strike.” The NEC is expected to finalize details during the meeting.
