HOWS team submit for the [Wix Studio Challenge ]

This is a submission for the Wix Studio Challenge .

What I Built

My team had two goal in every wix studio project. Fast in mobile and unbelievable in wix.
This time we try to take the challenge on making custom mini-cart, and custom ecom site with recommend products based on user-actions, and make sure it should load within 2s for every action even the cart in mobile, in safari.
Bonus mission is to use css to make our website become more stunning than editorX env.

Remark, since the wix-ads banner on top will affect to some css setup. plz add command ?inbizmgr=true after the url.

As we mentioned in the overview, we want to improve the experience on speed. Therefore, we try to combine the special feature in wix, dataset and communicate with other api like formatting dataset currentItem and push data to the mini-cart to cut the loading time.
Since we also try to revamp the shopping flow in wix. Therefore, no matter product detail page or inside the mini-cart. We also include the calculation with 3 layers recommendation products.

We used wix-store data instead of just custom a new one using cms, it is difficult, since data in wix-store api will hide with permission even we can see it in cms, but they cannot use.
We used lots of data hooks, and events.js to finish the challenge.
We keep the usage in simple when we handle to clients, they don’t need to study a dictionary to learn how to use their website even 80 years old can easy to use it. We want client feel the new env with wix, and all the friendly setup is still there.
In this creation, clients only need to learn how to use automation discount and coupon code, they can master the sales in using wix-store, and they can easy to add new sales channel in wix to amazon, ebay, since products already ready to expand the business in the catalog in wix.
