How To Skip Gutenberg And Keep Using The Old WordPress Editor

The WordPress 5.0 Update has sparked a whole lot of mixed reactions. While few are happy with Gutenberg as default editor in WordPress, others prefer the old WordPress Editor.

Many bloggers have been complaining about how difficult it is to use the Gutenberg Editor.

As a matter of fact, a lot of bloggers and Experts are not comfortable with the use of blocks in the Gutenberg Editor.

Despite the negative reviews, WordPress core team is moving forward with making Gutenberg the default editor in WordPress 5.0

Support for the Classic Editor plugin will remain in WordPress through 2021. To keep using the old WordPress Editor, simply install and activate the Classic Editor Plugin.

The Classic Editor plugin restores the previous WordPress editor and the Edit Post screen.
