In a statement, Princess Ekiuwa Inneh, Chairman of the Edo State Civil Service Commission, encouraged qualified individuals to apply for the various positions in the state’s civil service, assuring them that the hiring process will be impartial and open.

Recruitment Requirements for the 2024 Application

Candidates for the posts must possess the required qualifications, experience, and skills specified. Candidates must possess the minimum academic requirements for each role as stated below:

• Concerned individuals must be Nigerian by birth and have a legitimate form of identity, such as a NIN, international passport, driver’s license, etc.

•Applicants with a degree certificate must have a one-year required National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate or an exemption certificate.

• Prospective candidates must be natives of Edo State.

• Interested candidates must have a good, lively personality and great communication abilities.

• Applicants with extensive computer expertise and additional years of experience are a distinct advantage.

• The Edo State government does not allow applicants with criminal records to participate in the recruiting process.

• Applicants must provide a physical and mental fitness certificate from a government-approved facility.

• Interested candidates must be willing to work with or without supervision and within the specified period.

• Candidates must have a good leadership spirit.

• Applicants for senior positions should not be over the age of fifty.

• He or she must be eligible for a basic education with at least five (5) credits in any of the following certificates: WAEC, NECO, NCE, NATEB, etc. English and Mathematics are voluntary.

• Applicants for this position must hold an OND, HND, B.Sc., or Masters’ degree in a related discipline from a recognized university.

• Interested applicants should be no younger than 35 years of age.

• Applicants must be informed about research and willing to work efficiently.
