Day 1011 : Fortunate

  • Professional : Had quite a bit of meetings today. Unusual for a Thursday. Had a couple of team meetings. Got to do a demo for a sample application I made to demonstrate a new functionality. I quickly put together some slides and did the presentation. I think it went pretty well. The demo worked with no issues. That was super fortunate. I was pretty confident that it would work because I’ve been testing it a lot, but you never know. I wrote up the documentation and uploaded the code to the code repository. Responded to some community questions. Spent the rest of the day working on another application that will be used for an upcoming conference.

  • Personal : Last night, I picked what projects on Bandcamp I’ll be buying this week and started putting together social media posts. Went through a bunch of tracks for the radio show. Also used CSS container to get a section of a page of my side project to work how I wanted. Ended the night watching an episode of “The Umbrella Academy”.

A single tree stands in the middle of a grassy savanna with a small body of water to the right of the tree. The sky behind the tree is a bright orange sunset, and there is a line of clouds at the top of the image. Location: Okakuejo, Namibia.

Going to purchase the projects I picked on Bandcamp and finish up the social media posts I started last night. I’d like to have the playlist at least planned out for the radio show. Going to see if I can start on the Document Picture-in-Picture feature for my side project. Something tells me I may have to do more than I initially thought regarding some CSS stuff. We’ll see. I’ve trying to keep the CSS as straightforward as possible. Looking to wind down before bed by watching an episode of “The Umbrella Academy”. Off to eat dinner and get my steps in.

Have a great night!

peace piece
