DAAD Doctoral Training Scholarship
The programme shall be taught in over three year duration. All applications must be submitted before the stated deadline and only eligible persons will be considered for this program.
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Scholarships Secretariat is inviting applications from Ghanaian students to pursue doctoral training programmes.
Scholarship Eligibility
1. Must be a Ghanaian citizen resident in Ghana.
2. Must be a teaching staff of a Public or accredited private Tertiary University or Polytechnic.
3. Be a first Degree holder with 2nd Class Upper division or First Class
4. Must hold a master’s degree equivalent to a B+ grade or above
5. Should have a National Service certificate
6. The Masters degree generally should not be more than six (6) years at the last time of graduation.
7. Should not be more than 45 years
8. Should be willing to learn the German Language
How to Apply
The candidates shall submit a complete application consisting of:
2. Research proposal (not more than 10 pages) including a detailed timetable.
3. Should have secured admission with a recognized German University and developed a research proposal with a would-be German Supervisor.
