AUB Lebanon MasterCard Foundation Scholarships 2024

AUB Lebanon MasterCard Foundation Scholarships

Applications for the Scholarship are now being accepted at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in Lebanon.

Africans who wish to pursue undergraduate or graduate degrees in environmental health or medical laboratory sciences are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Eligibility

Graduate scholarships are open to:

1. Nationals of Africa

2. Nationals of Lebanon

3. R​​​refugee and displaced living in Lebanon

Lebanon’s citizens as well as refugees and internally displaced people are eligible to apply for undergraduate scholarships.

Selection Criteria

Selection and admission are based on:

1. Academic promise

2. Financial disadvantage

3. Leadership potential

4. Desire to give back and go back to one’s community

How to Apply

For Undergraduate

Fill out the undergraduate application and turn it in in person, along with the necessary paperwork, to the AUB Office of Admissions. There will be hard copy and soft copy versions of the application.

For Graduate

1. After registering, fill out the AUB Online Graduate Application Form.

2. As specified by the online application’s requirements, upload supporting documentation.

3. By March 18, 2020, residents of Lebanon, both Lebanese and non-Lebanese, should complete the online Graduate Financial Application tailored to the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (found here).

4. Please submit your application by March 14, 2024, if you are applying from Africa, using the online Graduate Financial Application, which is particular to the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.

Application Deadline

The application deadline for this scholarship is the 14th of March 2024.
