Health science grant continues to benefit Danbury ISD

DANBURY — New mannequins funded by an Angleton-Danbury Hospital District grant will give Danbury High School health science students real-world experience.

“One you can check the blood pressure on and change the settings so the students have to get the exact blood pressure and pulse,” health science teacher Patty Bowles said. “One of them also is very heavy, to teach them how to transfer patients who are bed bound and unable to help transfer.”
