We’re going to look at to side-car or multi container pods.
Let’s say we have a pod which has a nginx container. It can have additional container inside or sidecar (helper) nginx container that for instance a health-check or init-container, running certain tasks, for the main container, in this example it’s nginx.

The first container that is run is init-container. As soon as the tasks of init-container completed, the main container starts. They also share the resources in that pod, such as memory or cpu.

1. Create pod

Note Because we’re not doing anything in the pod, the status is CrashLoopBackOff.
